About Sanne
I've finished my bachelor Technical Innovation Sciences and the master Human Technology Interaction. Now I am continuing my drive for knowledge and thirst for research in my PhD-position at the Radboud university Nijmegen.
My PhD is focussed on developing machine learning techniques to acquire richer information from the human brain with fMRI. Now I focus on the visual cortex to find multivariate techniques that will enable researchers to read from participant's brains what they viewed while in the scanner. I started with simple images like letters, but want to move to complex natural images rapidly.
Specialties
Unique to my education is my understanding of people combined with technology. The specialty within my study is computer sciences and I'm also especially trained in many types of research methodology, statistics, SPSS, matlab and general programming.
Also, I trained my social and management skills a lot by doing extra curricular activities and I studied for an extra certificate in management to complete my practical knowledge with theoretical knowledge.
